Healthy strawberry jam

According to the promise – strawberry season is in full swing – a quick recipe for strawberry jam in FIT version, i.e. without sugar and gelatin.

dzemagar1 We need:

- strawberries

- water

- agar

- xylitol

We put any portion of strawberries into to pot and boil in water until they are soft (we may crush the strawberries), next we sweeten everything with xylitol according to preferences and at the end, depending on the quantity of used liquid, we add agar (yes, we add it to hot liquid). We pour it into jars and it is ready!

Preparing such jam takes literally 30 minutes, so it is worth to find a moment during the weekend in order to later be able to add your own jam to your omelets, sandwiches or cakes without any guilt. One comment – agar in the room temperature starts to lose its texture. Take this into consideration!
