Aliness D-Ribose is a product containing 5 grams of D-ribose in one portion. Supplementing the compound supports energy production in skeletal muscles and in the heart, and it promotes regeneration processes after workout.
D-ribose is a pentose sugar that plays the role of a molecular core in the structure of ribonucleosides (e.g. adenosine, guanosine, cytidine, uridine), ribonucleotides (e.g. ATP, AMP, ADP), dinucleotides (NAD, FAD, NADP, NADPH), ribonucleic acid (RNA), coenzyme A (CoA) and vitamins B2 and B12. All functions performed by the above-mentioned compounds are evidence of how important D-ribose is in the human organism.
ATP has the role of the main transporter of chemical energy used in cell metabolism.
