This product contains two well-known and popular carotenoids obtained from natural sources: lutein and astaxanthin. Unfortunately, humans do not have the ability to synthesize these carotenoids on their own.

Lutein from Marigold Tagetes extract is one of the most frequently used ingredients to support eye health. Lutein is one of the main elements of the retina, which is the part of the eye responsible for clear and optimal vision. It is also a yellow dye that gives plants a wonderful color.

The astaxanthin in this product is in the form of an extract from the Schizochytrium microalgae. Natural astaxanthin is much more trusted than its synthetic counterpart. Due to its incredibly strong antioxidant effect, it is sometimes called the "queen of carotenoids".

VisionLip™ sachets contain vitamins that have a beneficial effect on eye health and protection against free radicals.

Vitamin A helps maintain proper vision.
Vitamin E helps protect cells against oxidative stress.
Vitamin C helps regenerate the reduced form of vitamin E and protect cells against oxidative stress.

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) when consumed 250 mg daily (the amount in one VisionLipTM sachet) contributes to maintaining proper vision. As with astaxanthin, the DHA in this product comes from microalgae.

The composition also contains phosphatidylcholine, the most abundant phospholipid present in lecithin. Its source is sunflower lecithin, not soy, which makes the product friendly also to people sensitive to soy ingredients.
