LABS212 Carnitine is a composition of high-absorption carnitine: L-carnitine fumarate and acetyl-L-carnitine. Carnitine is an endogenous compound which is synthesized in the liver, kidneys, and the brain from amino acids (lysine and methionine). It plays an important role in the transport of long-chain fatty acids from the cytosol into the mitochondria. It is present in large quantities in the muscles. The research has shown that L-carnitine, in combination with vitamin C, is able to extend the life of cells and to improve their regeneration ability.
