Seeking Health Vitamin A Drops is a dietary supplement in the composition of which there is vitamin A in the form of synthetic retinyl palmitate, enriched in provitamin A, i.e. beta-carotene. It is an optimal combination allowing to fully take advantage of all benefits of beta-carotene and vitamin A. Synthetic origin makes the product appropriate also for vegetarians.

The preparation is in the form of comfortable drops. In its production the most advanced technology of micellar solubilization was used, consisting in the creation of colloids, composed of an active substance and solubilizators. Micellar structures created in this way guarantee almost 100% absorption and bioavailability of the active substance.

The supplement may be used in order to avoid vitamin A deficiencies. It is especially recommended to people, who have problems with skin (excessive skin dryness, acne, psoriasis, eczemas) or vision (especially worse vision after dusk). Iron deficits and consequently developing anemia are often correlated with excessively low level of vitamin A in the organism, therefore in such situations it is also worth considering increasing the supply of vitamin A.

Vitamin A is a term with which we determine a few different compounds, called retinoids. Although in their structure there are certain differences, their activity and mechanism of operation are similar. The basic source of vitamin A is food of animal origin (especially giblets). Vitamin A is also industrially produced, thanks to which its synthetic form may be also applied by vegetarians.

Beta-carotene is a pigment contained in some fruits and vegetables, responsible for their characteristic red-orange color. We often call it a provitamin A, as the organism may transform it to the active form of vitamin A (retinol). This conversion takes place in the liver with the participation of the enzyme of beta-carotene dioxygenase.

Vitamin A is one of the essential substances for humans. It is said that it is a “growth vitamin”, as proper growth and development of the organism depend on its presence. Traditionally it is associated with good vision and nice skin, but the scope of physiological functions it fulfills is considerably wider.

Proper immune response
One of the more serious consequences of vitamin A deficiency may be weaker immune system. Vitamin A has the influence on bone marrow, stimulating it to the production of erythrocytes and lymphocytes B and T. These are the most important cells in the immune system, which take part in hormonal immune response.

Beta-carotene stimulates the activity of thymus and protects it from the harmful effect of free radicals. Thymus is one of the most important organs for immunity – thymosins is produced there, i.e. the hormone responsible for maturation of lymphocytes T.

For the protection of the organism from harmful germs, the proper amount of mucosal secretions is necessary. They create a peculiar protective barrier, which secures the system from microbe permeation. The production of mucous secretions is conditioned by the proper supply of vitamin A, therefore in people with deficits high susceptibility to infections may be observed.

Good vision
Vitamin A deficits negatively influence the condition of the eyes – they lead to dryness of conjunctivas, may cause corneal opacity. Proper level of vitamin A is also essential for appropriate vision.

The mechanism of vision is conditioned by the presence of rhodopsin in rods of eye retina. It is a light-sensitive pigment, which reacts to light and for fulfilling its functions, it requires the presence of large amounts of vitamin A. Lack of vitamin A inhibits the synthesis of rhodopsin, the consequence of which is worse vision, especially felt after dusk (night-blindness).

Beautiful skin
Vitamin A positively influences the state of skin, supports the process of its regeneration and stimulates epidermis regeneration. It protects the horny layer from losing moisture, thanks to which the skin is properly hydrated and elastic. Vitamin A supplementation is recommended in problems with dry, chapped and scaly skin and the tendency to drying of mucous membrane.

For the attractive appearance of skin, beta-carotene is also very important. It protects the skin from the harmful effect of UV radiation, accelerates sunbathing and gives the skin beautiful, golden color.

Vitamin A is helpful in various skin problems, especially acne. Thanks to the ability to regulate the activity of sebaceous glands and decrease their size, it helps to limit the amount of secretions emitted by them. Sebum produced by these glands constitutes feedstuff for bacteria, therefore, lowering its level inhibits the occurrence of ugly pimples on skin.

Vitamin A is responsible for proper skin elasticity. It is engaged in the synthesis of the basic building blocks of skin, i.e. collagen and elastin. It secures new-formed collagen fibers from damages and also restores lost functions of fibroblasts. As a result of aging of the organism, some skin cells lose the ability to produce collagen. It was proven in the studies that this process may be reversed by increasing the supply of vitamin A.

Protection from free radicals
Beta-carotene is a representative of the group of carotenoids, i.e. one of the strongest antioxidants. It shows the ability to bind atomic oxygen and other kinds of free radicals, protects cells from damages, thanks to which it minimizes the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Efficient hormone synthesis
The presence of vitamin A influences the proper course of synthesis of the most important steroid hormones, including testosterone. Studies carried out on rodents proved that excessively low supply of vitamin A was negatively reflected in the conversion of enzymatic steroids. It may be prevented by leveling up deficits.

Anemia prevention
One of the possible causes of anemia may be vitamin A deficits. Research proved a strict correlation between the level of iron and proper supply of vitamin A. Vitamin A is engaged both in iron metabolism and mobilization of iron supplies from tissues. As a result of vitamin A deficits, iron gets trapped in the liver and spleen. Complementing the deficits, on the other hand, allows to stimulate the utilization of iron supplies.

Summing up, Vitamin A Drops is the best product when it comes to the prophylaxis of vitamin A deficiency. It is one of very few products on the market, in which both vitamin A and beta-carotene are contained. Perfect bioavailability and highest assimilability thanks to the application of revolutionary production technology guarantees the effectiveness and safety of use. Comfortable form of drops is a large facilitator for those who have problems with swallowing tablets or capsules.
