Minerals, like vitamins, are exogenous compounds that are necessary for the proper functioning of the body. Classification of the minerals is based on considering the systemic daily demand for them. Taking this criterion into account, we distinguish macronutrients (magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, chlorine, potassium, sodium, sulfur) and micronutrients (iodine, iron, boron, copper, chromium, zinc, selenium, molybdenum, manganese, fluorine, cobalt, vanadium). The latter group is sometimes referred to as 'trace elements' because the quantities in which the body need them is really small.

Macro and microelements fulfill many important functions in the body. They are part of bones, teeth, tissues and body fluids, they participate in the production of energy, regulate the functioning of various organs and systems in the body. It is assumed that they should be provided with food, however, sometimes it is not possible to cover the systemic needs in this way. The main reason is the poor quality of food, improperly balanced diet, nutritional mistakes. A separate problem is the anti-nutritive substances (e.g. phytates) present in food, which significantly limit the absorption of minerals.

Dietary supplements come to rescue. We offer a wide selection of preparations containing certain minerals in perfectly absorbable forms and precisely selected doses. People especially exposed to deficiencies (athletes, seniors, women in the menopausal period, people exposed to chronic stress or intense mental effort) can reach out for ready-made complexes containing several or a dozen of the most deficient elements.
