Eucalyptus leaves, coming from trees and shrubs of New Guinea, Australia and south-east Indonesia, are the ingredients willingly used in the pharmaceutical industry and also in natural medicine.
Etheric oils contained in the leaves of eucalyptus contain flavonoids, i.e. compounds with strong antioxidant and antifungal effect as well as eucalyptol, which has strong analgesic effect. Tannins present in the plant counteract inflammations, viruses and bacteria.
Eucalyptus, thanks to its antibacterial and analgesic properties and also as an element supporting dilution and expectoration of the secretion in the respiratory tract, will also work well for people with tonsillitis, bronchitis, runny nose, bones aching, sore throat or fever.
Eucalyptus is also attributed a calming and detoxicating effect and thanks to causing topical hyperemia - also warming and relaxing effects.
