Larch Pulp & Bark - pulp and bark of larch are a source of natural compound, referred to as maltol, the chemical formula of 3-hydroxy-2-ethyl-4-h-pyrone, used as flavour enhancer, binding to certain metals (including the iron) and to facilitate their absorption.
