Salicylic acid - acid from to the group of hydroxy carboxylic acids, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anti-aggregative. The source of natural acquisition is the bark (Cortex Salicis), white willow (Salix alba) and synthetic forms of salicylic acid. Contraindication to use salicylic acid are blood clotting disorders and allergy to its components. It has the thermogenic potential, not fully acknowledged capabilities of supporting the effort and diaphoretic properties (used as an supplementing treatment of rheumatic diseases and for body at elevated temperature).
