Lingonberry (Vaccinium vitis-idea) in Poland is growing in coniferous forests. The raw material is a lingonberry leaf (Folium Vitis idaeae), the fruit of lingonberry (Fructus Vitis idaeae), in addition to medical applications also suitable for direct consumption. Preparations of the leaves are disinfectant for the urinary tract and a diuretic. Although used anti-diarrhea, it stimulates digestion and metabolism. It has a high percentage of flavonoids and phenolic glycosides, tannins, organic acids and mineral salts. Fruit, because the ingredients, have nutritional value and regulate the digestive processes. Often used in diets. They include organic acids, tannins, carbohydrates, vitamins (including A, B2, C, P) and mineral salts containing trace elements (phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron).
